Abby Pryor Audio

Sound designer and composer with AAA and Indie Experience

Hi there! I'm Abby, an LA-based sound designer and electronic music producer with game development experience in both AAA and indie studios. I graduated from Berklee College of Music in May 2023 with a Bachelor’s in Electronic Production and Design and a double minor in Sound Design for Video Games and Creative Coding. My most recent role was a Sound Designer at Theorycraft Games, where I contributed to sound design and implementation for Supervive. My passion for audio has allowed me to quickly become versatile in my field- I am driven and committed to helping create and deliver sonically engaging experiences with my knowledge, regardless of the medium. In my work, I want to inspire others with sound just as much as it inspires me in my daily life. I believe that audio should not only complement, but enhance storytelling and emotion. Whether I'm designing in Reaper, implementing in Unreal Engine, or producing original music, I consistently aim to push creative boundaries and bridge the gap between reality and immersion.

More About Me:

After graduating from Berklee, I was hired by Insomniac Games at Sony Playstation as their Audio Design Intern. My main project was Marvel's Wolverine for PS5, while I helped out here and there with Marvel's Spider-Man 2 for PS5. After my time at Insomniac, I was hired at Disruptive Games as their Audio Design Intern for an unannounced AAA multiplayer IP. Working on these games and collaborating with such a driven team caused me to fall even more in love with sound than I knew possible. There will always going to be something new to learn or explore in this field, which makes it truly special and exciting to work in.

In 2024, I was hired as a Sound Designer at Theorycraft Games working on a MOBA/BR game called Supervive. I ended up also serving as Lead Music Designer / Composer after joining the team, which led to a ton of fun new skill development and responsibility. Previous to this, I had been hired as a contractor to work on Clone Drone in the Hyperdome VR as a Music Composer, so I found myself drawing from my knowledge of working on that game and bringing it into the world of Supervive.
